The route is easy, completely level and paved.
It is not recommended during excessively hot periods because of poor shading. Points of interest along the Sinistra Po Cycle Route: Romanore – Ostiglias are: the Borgoforte Fortress, the ancient locks and church on the river in Governolo, the Foglia Palace and the Bonazzi-Cavirani Palace in Ostiglia, and Boschina Island.
At Ostiglia the route joins the Destra Po bicycle path: Ostiglia – Luzzara.
